The journey into the bridal experience was initiated by the wedding of a niece.

More weddings transpired until the wedding of Katrina, the eldest daughter. A uniquely designed handcrafted, hand embroidered and hand beaded piña serpentine gown, with a full tulle skirt accentuated with handsewn, indigenously embroidered appliqués and cut out lace was specially designed for the bride. It was the perfect gown for both the bride and the grandiose extravagance of the Ruins, a historic tourist destination in Talisay, Negros Occidental, the hometown of the bride.

The grand wedding and the perfect gown became the talk of the town.

An all-white wedding was ensembled amidst all the critiques. Since then the quest to promote Filipino ingenuity, class and tradition has become dominant in the works of the artist.
